Him: Why couldn’t she just let the authorities deal with his body rather than handle it herself? To show her shock, raise the stakes? Most people who take credit but not dispose of the body. She was enigmatic and needed to get out of Scotland and have more from her ordinary life. Was she already numb to the worst?
