See

Her:

Him: Ivo (Lembit Ulfsak) an Estonian tangerine farmer in Abkhazia remains behind with neighbour Margus (Elmo Nuganen) to harvest the crop after their families flee the war between Russia and Georgia over the break away region. They take in injured Chechen mercenary Ahmed (Giorgi Nakashidze) and Georgian soldier NIka (Misha Meskhi), fighting on opposite sides but recovering under the same roof.

Think

Her:

Him: This could be a play. There  are only really four characters. The setting is a tiny abandoned village. The dialogue is high concept. Why fight? Why stay? Does it matter?

Feel

Her:

Him: The recurring Mandariinid theme song by Niaz Diasamidze ear wormed into my mind. It’s traditional strings, sad and beautiful. I’m so glad She shows me stories about things I’ve never heard before, Estonians and Abkazians, and see situations differently. Previously I've never even known to look.
