Her:

Him: Angels Damiel (Bruno Ganz) and Cassiel (Otto Sander) watch over Berlin and its people. With slicked back pony tails and long coates, they observe but are unseen, offering solace to the despondent. 

Think

Her:

Him: Peter Falk plays himself, an American film star shooting a detective movie in Germany. 

She asked ‘Wasn’t he in some detective show?’ 

‘Columbo.’ He answered.

Then the next scene characters make the same comment. 

Feel

Her:

Him: Marion (Solveig Dommartin) is a trapeze artist with a circus that’s shutting down. She’s discouraged. Hearing her self doubt and providing comfort Damiel falls in love and decides to become human. A more uplifting angel story than City of Angels, I never did see that movie but I remember scenes from it with Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan featured in the music video I Don’t Want the World to See Me by The Goo Goo Dolls.
